Global Conference 2014
The California-Israel Innovation Project
Wednesday, April 30, 2014 / 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm
In March, California Gov. Jerry Brown and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed a unique strategic partnership with the aim of meeting such global challenges as water scarcity, agricultural productivity and food security, creating low-carbon energy alternatives and improving health, education and cyber-security. Many of California and Israel's world-class assets will be involved: research parks, technology incubators, universities and laboratories. Bringing together innovation leaders from both places, this roundtable will focus on the implementation of this historic collaboration. Topics will include funding for public-private projects and organizing innovation teams for joint research, development and demonstration projects.
