Global Conference 2014
The 21st Century Workplace
Wednesday, April 30, 2014 / 10:00 am - 11:00 am
As Millennials, Gen-Xers and baby boomers converge in the increasingly diverse U.S. workforce, business managers are continually challenged to both lead their employees to achieve strategic objectives and provide a professional environment that satisfies those employees' myriad personal goals. A growing body of research shows that the answer may be greater diversity in leadership, combined with a more collaborative approach marked by reciprocity. Across the board, leaders who embrace change and challenges within the workforce, rather than fear them, will often be first to new markets and new opportunities. As more industries expand beyond national borders, what strategies should executives pursue to keep their global workforces cohesive and motivated?
